As a working mum with 2 kids I know what it means to have a lot on your plate. And I know that adding an impossible diet & supplement regime to that plate simply doesn’t work!

I’ve been a nutritionist for over 10 years. More specifically I’m a “naturopathic nutritionist”. That means I work with principles of whole food – food in its natural form, food as medicine. Plus I know how to include natural supplements in the mix to achieve optimal health.

I understand how the body reacts to food. I understand how the body communicates its needs. And I understand how to work with the magical properties of food to help heal the body.

My goal is to help you take charge of your health for the long term. I put you in the driver’s seat, empowering you to achieve the lifestyle goals you want. Working with me you’ll learn to nourish yourself so you feel alive, alert & energised. I also incorporate coaching and emotional fitness into the mix so we are looking at your whole health not just the physical aspects.

I share my expertise & give you the tools to achieve lifelong health & wellness. I don’t believe in extremes. Radical approaches are rarely successful, distressing your body & upsetting your equilibrium. Your body needs time to adjust to any changes & it’s essential to respect that.

Professional Background

For over 15 years Cassandra Parrish has been working as a Naturopathic Nutritionist.

I was lucky enough to discover what I loved while at high school. I became fascinated by the impact of nutrients on the body. Nutrients are the building blocks of true health.

It was a natural progression to study nutritional medicine for 3½ years & obtain the Bachelor of Applied Science in Food & Nutrition.

Over the next several years I gained extensive clinical experience & for my work at a major Chiropractic health centre, I was awarded Therapist of the Year.

In 2007 I became a certified transpersonal coach & today apply coaching techniques to reinforce my clinical practice. During this study I realised how important it is to have our emotional health balanced as much as our physical health as the two don’t exist separately.

In 2008 I began expanding my practice using kinesiology (specialised muscle testing techniques) to help achieve optimal health, both physically & mentally. The qualifications I have achieved include food sensitivity testing & Touch For Health levels 1 & 2.

It’s always astounded me that we’re never taught everything we need to know to take charge of our diet & health. For this reason I’m committed to sharing my knowledge through Workshops to empower others on their path to their best health.

I am a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS)  – my membership number is 23402. I attend regular training & seminars to continue my growth as a practitioner. This keeps me up-to-date with the most current techniques & broadens my professional skillset.
